In our courses we acknowledge the diversity of simulation around the world in terms of target groups, training goals, contents, methods, and technology used. Based on a common concept the faculty represents this diversity by coming from different simulation centres, countries and professional backgrounds.

All our projects are guided by the assumption that simulation in its different forms helps improve patient safety and quality of care. Simulation optimises the interplay between people, technology and organisation of medical care. We see simulation both as a tool for the analysis of work systems and processes and an interventive tool. We focus on training in our collaboration but also address other interventive uses of simulation (e.g. for testing and optimizing medical devices under realistic conditions).

We aim for a safe and friendly yet challenging working atmosphere. Our courses all are based on needs analyses and careful course design that we update as necessary. We employ a mix of instructional methods to make our courses stimulating in all phases and the learning sustainable. For this reason, we would like to stay in contact with you after the course and facilitate the networking between the participants during the courses and beyond. Check out the possibilities to attend our Alumni Meetings in connection to one of the larger simulation conferences.
