 | Dr. Peter Dieckmann Ph.D., Dipl.-Psych., Psychodrama Director (DAGG) Peter is working with training simulation since 1999 and being employed in patient simulation centres since 2001. Peter investigated simulator training in different domains (aviation, ship simulator, truck driving simulators, nuclear powerplants, screen-based simulators and patient simulators) and wrote his Ph.D. thesis on using simulators in Anaesthesiology. His research focuses on understanding simulation as a social practice, trying to optimize the interplay of concepts and technology as well as using simulators to understand human error. Peter is certified as Psychodrama Director – an experienced-based method for consulting and therapy; he is regularly invited speaker at conferences around simulation and has led numerous workshops around debriefing, simulation, and crisis resource management at conferences and in simulation centres. His spare time he fills with windsurfing and photography. Currently he is employed as researcher at the Danish Institute for Medical Simulation (DIMS) and the overall co-ordiantor of the EuSim Courses.
